Our clients in Carlisle, MA initially reached out for a straightforward pool renovation. Their aging gunite pool needed new plaster and tile, the existing pool deck was worn down, and a leaking water feature had become a distraction instead of a highlight.
During our on-site consultation, our landscape design team proposed expanding the project into a more cohesive outdoor living update. We recommended a sunken patio featuring a state-of-the-art gas fire pit finished with natural stone veneer. The plan also included refreshed landscaping to bring calm and structure to the space, along with a full demolition and rebuild of the failing water feature. To complete the transformation, we designed a new travertine natural-stone pool deck that ties every element together.
With thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship, this simple request for a pool renovation evolved into a full hardscape and landscape revitalization—one that turned an ordinary backyard into a serene and inviting outdoor retreat.
