The Art of Sensitive Design in 2016- it is easy being Green!

Sustainable Landscapes are responsive to the environment, are re- generative and can actively contribute to the development of healthy communities. They help sequester carbon, clean the air and water, increase energy efficiency, restore habitats and create value through economic, social and environmental benefits.

Some environmentally friendly ideas that we infuse in our landscape designs include the use of lower water use drip irrigation systems, lower energy L.E.D. outdoor lighting systems, paver materials used from recycled materials that allow for efficient water permeation, native and adaptive plant materials that help manage rainwater and storm water runoff.

Too often, it is assumed that because a space is green, it is also sustainable. The multiple dimensions of sustainable landscapes raise challenging questions over the nature of how to design, plan and manage them.

Our designers look forward to working with you in creating your sustainable landscape design!
